Here are some more photos showing the Fords chassis condition, plus pictures of the front suspension, spring, drum brakes, the 5.75/6.00 x 16" crossply tyres, lever arm dampers, front axle and radius rod, suspension links, and the engine & box shortly before being removed. The front axle components fitted to the E83W and shown here are similar, but to a larger/heavier scale, to those on similar Pops and Prefects, hence little carry-over of parts between saloon and commercial sidevalves.
