Metal back pickups found in Chile.
Nice all-steel trucks found in a field
Lars has been on the owners register for a while, ever since he sent me photos of his nicely preserved steel back pickup truck in Chile. He got in touch again recently having found two more identical pickups dumped in a field. Despite their position, they look to be well worth saving.

Lars own pickup
Shown here is Lars first pickup truck, also to be found on the register page. Nice little steel-back truck that.

2 more pickups found in a field
These are the 2 trucks that Lars stumbled across, dumped in the corner of a field. Despite being somewhat down-at-heel, they actually look very solid beneath a thin dusting of surface rust - if they were in the damp UK climate, all that would be left is 8 tyres and a pile of dust!

The red pickup
Despite surface corrosion, the body on this rare pickup looks to be very well preserved. A sandblasting would get it looking pretty good again I think! Theres a radiator dumped in the back of this truck, perhaps its the one from the blue pickup alongside.

The blue pickup
And again, another very solid and saveable looking steel bodied truck, with another old Enfo radiator in the back. Definitely worth dragging out of the field and storing somewhere dry.
