Hoover van
This superb image, and the two further down showing vans used in Merthyr Tydfil, Wales, were found on a fascinating website that shows Welsh villages how they used to be, with period photographs and postcards of the various villages. I found these 3 pictures on that website (link) along with lots of other interesting photos - thanks Geoff for ok'ing me to reproduce the Ford pictures here!
First of the 3 pictures is this amazing black and white shot of a Thames 10cwt van in Hoover colours. Whether 390 BME is still around I don't know, but if it is wouldn't it be great if it was still in these colours. |

Second of the photos I found on the Welsh images site, is this nice 2-tone fully signwritten example, with its proud looking owner. |

E83W, Merthyr Tydfil in Wales
This cropped-down photo shows part of an E83W parked up outside some slightly rundown looking buildings. |

E83W, Austin A40 Devon & more!
The pic shown here was found recently on the history page of a UK consulting groups website, with a nice little Thames parked up with some other old commercial vehicles for company! |

Fleet of First Aid vans
A very smart line-up of E83W First Aid vans is seen in this photo, another wartime picture I imagine. |
