E83Ws 'at rest' in a New Zealand scrapyard.

Yet more ex-pat E83W van enjoying a quiet retirement.

Dean sent me these photos a few months back, showing a pair of E83Ws in the final state of decay. New Zealand must be good hunting ground for little sidevalves, one look at the Register page backs this up.

E83W in a NZ scrappie
This old 10cwt has escaped preservation and looks set to end it's days propping up the front end of a 6v VW Bug. The much younger Mk3 Cortina alongside looks equally derelict.

Another E83W
The van shown here looks to be missing most of it's front end, and is surrounded by a stash of super-rare panels for various vintage motors.

Thanks again for those photos Dean (he runs Anglia Obsolete).

Does anyone else out there have scrapyard E83W photos they'd be willing to have shown on the site?
